Checking out new digital cameras

I am using an Olympus C-40Z digital camera which I bought in early 2002, I am quite happy with it except the battery life being too short, and SmartMedia cards are becoming obsolete. Recently I have been checking out new digital cameras for myself but there still isn’t anything exciting to me. After I looked at a Sony T-11 today at the 298 computer mall, I tried to read more about it on the Sony Japan site, then I discovered that T-11 has been temporarily halt for sales due to a body paint issue. Here is the original Japanese notice and the translated English one. Quite a shock to know that, then I found that Sony HK has already made the notice on the same day. I didn’t spot any notice at the camera shop, I think they should be aware of that and stop selling this model.
