New mobile phone - Motorola V600
As you know I lost my mobile phone on my birthday two months ago. Finally I got a new one last Friday. It is a Motorola V600, at HK$2,200. It took me such a long time to get a new phone because I really couldn’t find a better model with that price and features. During this time I relied solely on my BlackBerry, which just survived a car crash, and was serving me particularly well in USA. In the end I still got a Bluetooth phone to avoid re-entering all my contacts, but I’d like to stay away from Sony Ericsson for a while, I’ve used too many SE phones over the past few years. It’s time to try something new.
Besides, all other models of SE still suffer from the same problem - it is slow in response and sometimes hangs (like Windows PC). So despite having to buy a USB data cable to sync my OS X Address Book with this Motorola V600, I decided to get a new phone of another brand. Sharing the frustration of all fellow Mac owners of this phone, I can’t accept the fact that the PowerPC (CPU used by Apple) maker Motorola couldn’t make their phones work on Mac! What is the logic of having a bluetooth (wireless technology) phone to sync with your computer using a WIRE???!!!
Though I have no problem transferring files (music, pictures, movies) using Bluetooth, it’s still a bit uneasy to go back to life without Bluetooth. Overall I am satisfied with this new phone, will post up my review later.
Update: Anyone know how to get this phone? It looks really cool!
