Post-World Cup

If I don’t update my blog now, I don’t think I would ever do it again. Being completely consumed by work is one reason, having too much to say is another. So much has happened that I don’t know how to start! Let’s start with the World Cup. Goosh, it’s over, I miss it so much. I enjoyed watching the matches, following the news and talking about it with every one I met. The teams I support didn’t win, but as I always believe “The journey is more important than the destination”. It would have been a fairytale ending if France had won. I honestly thought they would …

Then it’s Wimbledon. As every one expected, Federer won again in his own backyard, though not every one could imagine his nemesis Nadal could make all the way to the Final. I couldn’t believe I missed that match, I was working till 12 midnight that day! The results were all pleasing to me, like the Chinese duo’s Ladies’ Doubles Title and Henin’s loss. Now the French got something to cheer about, I feel so sorry for Zidane!

Finally it’s work, yeah, the ever-daunting work. If problem = challenge = opportunity, I now have too many opportunities to deal with! As usual, I stay positive no matter what happens, come on, it’s not a matter of life and death (thank God I am not a doctor at E.R.!). Three months from now, I would have run this business for three years. Doesn’t time fly? It’s not a baby anymore, and there’re no more excuses for anything not done well. Feeling the pressure finally? Yes indeed, especially when there’s virtually no one to share it with.

24 hours later I will be in Bangkok chilling out, by the time I return (next Monday), I would be re-charged - hopefully.
